Add Additional Indoor Antennas to Your Cellular Amplifier System with Taps

A Wilson Electronics Tap (also called coupler) is a wideband cellular accessory. They allow for controlled signal distribution to large and small areas with a consistent drop in dB levels. These taps allow for an additional indoor antenna to be placed along a route, making them ideal for long cable runs and dropping antennas along a hallway.

These taps are designed to be placed indoors. Each port on the 50-ohm taps use N-Female termination, meaning it is compatible with N-Male terminated cable or adapters. The 75-ohm taps use F-Female termination, meaning it is compatible with F-Male terminated cable or adapters.

Here are the tap variants we carry:

  • -7dB Tap / Coupler 50 Ohm N-Female (859114)
  • -10dB Tap / Coupler 50 Ohm N-Female (859907)
  • -7dB Tap / Coupler 75 Ohm F-Female (859115)
  • -10dB Tap / Coupler 75 Ohm F-Female (859976)

The higher the dB loss on the antenna, the less for continuing the cable run, and vice versa.
