Product Overview
The Peplink UBR is an affordable, yet powerful SD-WAN capable LTE router. It integrates WiFi, LTE, Gigabit Ethernet, and Gigabit WAN, allowing multiple ways to connect. Use it to keep your vehicles, branch offices, and IoT sites online. Built-in GPS offers optional tracking.
Compact chassis houses two LTE modems, making two simultaneous connections possible. This allows for better speeds, little to no downtime, load balancing, and load bonding. It supports up to four SIM cards, two for each modem, providing multiple failover options. LTE Modem 2 is FirstNet and Band 71 ready. Rugged, deploy it in even harsh environments without affecting reliability.
Access to PrimeCare* right out of the box, you have everything needed for cloud management, SDWAN provisioning, zero-touch deployment, bonding, and more.

How Does it Work?
The Peplink UBR LTE comes with two LTE modems, allowing it to support 2 simultaneous connections at any given time. Each modem has 2 designated SIM card slots. They are used to access multiple cellular networks.
The router captures existing LTE signals from different carriers and converts them into reliable internet. Users can connect via WiFi or Ethernet. If your main LTE connections go down, automatic failover ensures continuous uptime.
You also have the option to stay connected using wired WAN and WiFi as WAN.

Does the Peplink UBR LTE work with 5G?
No. The Peplink UBR LTE router only works with 4G LTE frequency bands. Specifically:
LTE Modem 1: B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B25, B26
LTE Modem 2: B12, B14, B4, B2, B5, B13, B66, B71

Does the UBR LTE Support Band 71?
Yes. To use Band 71, insert a compatible carrier's SIM card into Cellular SIM 2.
Is the Peplink UBR LTE Router FirstNet Ready?
Yes. To use FirstNet Bands 12 and 14, insert your FirstNet SIM into Cellular SIM 2.
Do I Have to Use All Seven Antennas?
It depends. We highly recommend that you connect all cellular and WiFi antennas. Though, the GPS antenna is only necessary if you want to use the tracking functionality.
What Size SIM Cards Does the UBR Use?
It uses Mini-SIMs (2FF).
Can I use the UBR LTE's WAN Port as a LAN Port?
No. The WAN port double as a LAN port.
What is PrimeCare?
PrimeCare is Peplink's subscription service bundling InControl, Warranty, SpeedFusion license upgrades, and FusionHub Licenses in one neat package.
