The RUT956 by Teltonika Networks is a high-performing 4G industrial cellular router designed to meet the connectivity needs of various industrial applications.
Using a CAT4 mobile module, it offers data speeds up to 150 Mbps. With multiple connectivity options, modern and legacy devices can connect via WiFi, Ethernet, Serial (RS232/RS485), and I/O. GNSS capabilities allow real-time location tracking and time synchronization.
Built with dual SIMs and auto-failover, it automatically switches between the two cards for uninterrupted data transmission. It’s certified for use with Bell, Rogers, and Telus. Also built with a WAN port, the RUT956 offers various ways to create a resilient connection.
Teltonika RMS compatible, you can effortlessly manage and monitor the RUT956 from anywhere to ensure smooth operation.

Extremely versatile, the RUT956 is suited for various applications. Because of its multiple wired interfaces and GPS capabilities, it’s perfect for IoT/M2M and fleet use cases.
The RUT956 Industrial cellular router uses 4G cellular signals to deliver reliable internet access to wireless and wired devices. If 4G is not available, it is backward compatible with 3G. For 5G support, check out the Teltonika RUTM50 Cellular Router.
The RUT956 supports Mini SIMs (2FF). To accommodate smaller SIM cards, a SIM adapter is included in the kit.
The RUT956 and RUT951 are both 4G industrial cellular routers with a similar design. However, the RUT956 offers more wired connectivity options and GPS.
