Where Can I Use the PSU?
Battery-powered and portable, you can use the PSU anywhere cell signal is available, even if faint. You'll get the best results when used indoors. Walls help with signal propagation. However, the PSU can also be used outdoors.
Does the PSU need signal to work?
TYes. The signal booster and LTE router both need cellular reception to keep you connected.
Is the PSU Weatherproof?
The booster amplifies the signal reaching your phone at the source, so your phone doesn't need to “connect” to anything. It isn't a WiFi router - if your phone can detect cellular signal, then it will pick up the amplified signal the booster emits.
Why Must the Lid Stay Open During Operation?
Three reasons: The directional panel antenna that broadcasts the boosted signal is mounted on the lid. For optimal results, the antenna must face the direction better cell signal is needed. You need room to lift the LTE router's antennas, allowing it to send and receive the best signals. Having the lid open adds the necessary space needed between the panel and whip antennas to avoid oscillation.

The Portable Signal Unit is the first no-power signal booster on the market. It's equipped with a battery-powered weBoost Home Rome Signal Booster and Bolton Blazer LTE Router. Get reliable cellular and fast WiFi anywhere. Everything you need can be found in the two-wheeled, heavy-duty case for easy setup and portability.
The Home Room boosts poor outside cell signal by up to +60 dB for all cellular devices, including the Blazer. WiFi performance is much better than that of a hotspot. Take it anywhere and enjoy uninterrupted calls and data speeds of up to 300 Mbps. For optimal results, the lid must remain open during operation.
With two rechargeable lithium batteries (battery charger sold separately), the PSU ensures up to 18 hours of operation without electricity. Power machines and charge devices with the built-in power strip and USB ports. It's perfect for camping, remote working, temporary job sites, outage events, and more.
